ORIGINAL-Far Away Is Still Somewhere
This is an original watercolor, gouache, charcoal, pastel, powdered pigment, varnish and ink illustration entitled, "Far Away Is Still Somewhere". It was created in 2023 and is unframed. The picture measures 9" x 11.5" and is painted on Arches 300lb. hot-pressed 100% cotton watercolor paper. The paper has a deckled edge along the bottom and small embossment in lower left corner.

*The deckled edge refers to the irregular edge on the paper. Arches, which is the French brand of paper I use, crafts their paper on cylinder moulds which create "deckled edges". The natural untrimmed edge gives the paper a unique, softer feel.
